Do you have any health conditions that may hinder you? If in doubt. Check with your doctor.Why? Because certain exercises can worsen your health conditions.(Example, Anaerobic activity such as sprinting can do more harm than good if you have heart problem.)
Make sure that your doctor gives you the "green light".Before you start enjoying the health benefits of exercise. - Your Physical Age.
If you are over the age of 35.And you have not engaged in any form of exercise.For the past year or maybe even longer.
You have to start slow. So you can enjoy the benefits of exercise.Why do you have to start slow? Because even if you are fit in the past. It doesn't mean you will remain fit forever.Why? Because the muscles in your body will start to weaken when it is not in use.Same goes to your aerobic capacity.
In other words, If you don't use it. You lose it.
- Pregnant women
High impact exercises such as running, sprinting.Such exercises may harm pregnant mothers.Because it may cause miscarriage. Avoid exercises that require you to lie down.Such as crunches and pelvis tilt. Gentle stretching and walking is ideal for pregnant women.
Lifting weights is fine. Provided it is not strenuous.Don't forget to ask for a massage after you have done with your walk. Because it helps relieve your aching leg muscles.
- Exercise Equipments.
Optional but recommend. Why? Because certain exercises require equipment.Besides, some exercise equipment cost less than a meal in a high class restaurant.And it keeps you lean and fit if you use it.
And not to forget. One very important piece of exercise equipment. ("This is not optional exercise equipment."It's a must-have.)It is the water bottle."Never leave home without it."
